PROJECT BRIEF
“Our main goal is to build and execute a research plan and analyze the generated data to understand the needs and desires of people within care relations with regards to care technologies.
Our secondary goal is to create a series of speculative or critical works of design representing an emergent understanding of an audience.
Your project should emphasize complexity, nuance, and discourse.”

What is care relations?
PREFACE
Care relations encompass complex tensions surrounding agency, love, fairness, porousness, invisibility, and labor. Technology offers the promise of efficiency, safety, joy, independence, and peace of mind, as part of the care experience.
Yet, this promise isn’t without risks—lack of control, loss of privacy, unethical use of data, an overwhelming sense of complexity, devaluation of care labor, etc.
